AYA Consulting is a creative consulting firm based in Dakar, Senegal and Paris, France that specialises in providing Branding (Brand Identity), Editorial & Content, Social Media & Marketing, Creative Direction & Curatorial services and strategies to brands, start-ups, as well as institutions and individual practitioners. We work on a wide range of international programmes and projects and rely on a strong network of creative professionals from and based in the diaspora and the continent. 

We are currently looking for a gifted and art-infused (!) graphic/ web designer to revamp our current website. The ideal candidate should have an eye for refined and artful web design. He/She should have superior interface design skills.

What you will be doing:

-Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering

- Conceptualise an original website design that brings simplicity and user friendliness  

-Create a storyboard, user and process flows as well as site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas 

-Present and defend the final design and key deliverables to our team

-Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

What you can do:

-Proven work experience as a Web Designer with experience working with a diverse and mostly women-driven company

-Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio 

-Solid experience in creating storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps 

-Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools 

-Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping 

-Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction 

-Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively 

-Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies 

-An art lover and a traveler (always helps!)
