This is an on going research project that I started after learning further about the history of art in Africa. It touches on how enslaved bodies, especially in South Africa, were portrayed as being content with being in slavery, therefore downplaying the significance of the brutality of slavery. The projects also probes on the role of art in the triumph of slavery all over the world.
